Imagine there's no heaven

Imagine theres no country, it isn hard to do nothing to kill or die for, no religion too. Imagine all the people, living life in peace...

One

Father's Daughter

One of the Joys of being a parent, as a lot of you know, is following the traits that grow in your child.
I get butterflies when I see Morgan tilt her head just like Alec, or sleep with her mouth open in an almost snore like him.  I love Maddie's ability to change the subject when she does not want to answer a question.  But it is so much harder to find things like me in them, besides Morgan's favorite phrase: "how-a-you".  They grow up so fast and just today I read how having kids is like holding up a mirror to yourself.  And it is true, you see yourself grow up with them, learn with them, grow with them:)

Two little girls and a world of beauty.
Two little girls and a world of sorrow
Two little hands folded in prayer,
Two little arms holding days of tomorrow

Two Little, too old
Two Wise, two young.

Waiting, Watching, Holding,
Fighting, Breathing, Sleeping,
Crying Dreaming, Laughing,
and Screaming
and Looking up to tomorrow...

Little Lover

A Look Back on Little Lover {maddie-ann elizabeth matthews}

I sneak in to Blog because my little Lover (Maddie-Ann) is starting pre-school on Monday.  She could have started tomorrow but I could not be that unprepared to let her go.  I feel guilty with splashes of failing her not being able to do a "Mommy & Me" class everyday together but she has been asking to go to school since December.  Maddie even remembered the school and started hopping as we came up to it and she saw all the slides and motorcycles they had to ride outside.  She is always shy at first but then opens up.  The kids were having quite time with the lights off and laying on little beds to rest. It really is preparing for kindergarden and its nauseating.  The fact that she is not a baby anymore, that she is her own woman and I just want to protect her and shelter her from the storm and fight all her battles and make her Happy.  So happy because her laugh and Morgan's laugh are truly the only thing that make me happy in this entire world.  Is a business really worth all the time it takes away from raising your children?

Incendiary

In-cen-diary:  1: a: a person who commits arson: b: an incendiary agent (as a bomb)
2: a person who excites factions, quarrels, or sedition:

I saw Incendiary (the movie with Ewan McGregor and Michelle Williams) last night and for the first time in my life, have felt compelled to share about a movie.

This piece of work is undull and quite heroic.  Of course a woman is left wiped out, in terms of her heart, but gives herself a second chance as the chaos of love chatters away at her mind and grief.  This movie is battle, but not of swords or guns,  but a clear distinction between what is real and what is not, in the reality of your heart.  The moments you would change if given another chance, the things you would say or would not, that makes all the difference in the world.  The sheer honestly of words versus action, and in some cases, inaction.  And the outcome of your life because of small everyday actions.

If you are a Mother, I warn is is hard to watch.  We live in sheer oblivious days that cannot fathom this pain or this loss,  yet we know so many who have endured.   Still the humility and trust in the greater, that there is an ultimate destiny in the death of things and it is one no human can ever reveal or uncover.  It is a homage to the human soul being humble in it's humanity and giving of the thing most precious to all of us: life.

Birth. Death.  We are all born and we all someday die.  What separates us is how we handle those days, how we miss Those days how or play and scream and live and Love Those days.   To view the Trailer click here: Incendiary Trailer

A Little Lush

A little more then meets the eye.
Each side a different perspective, each day a new face or hair or smile.
I feel like taking pictures all the time to capture the pureness of the girls that rule my life.  It has been raining here washing away the dirt and dryness making way for Spring.  Los Angeles, in many ways is an oasis in the desert.  It seems as if one day I will see a block of mud, it rains and the next moment the dirt is covered in clover, soft lime green grass...

A little rain...

A Hollywood Forever resting place

A walk in Santa Monica

A tribute to the Angels, The City of Angels...

The city of Dreams of graffiti, big cars, and ghettos, of artists playing, strolling, running, making. Of tears streaming, of violins crying, of cars passing, of helicopter chasing, of magnolia's falling, of dreams crashing, of time flying, of years dying, of so much more then meets the eye.  Of hope and mirrors and cutting through the everyday , everyone. We are One.
